Creative Jump Start 2014 & Liquitex

Nathalie Kalbach of n*Studio has created another Creative Jump Start class and this years theme is mixed media with household items. One of the challenges is to create with Liquitex products. On my art journal page I also incorporated household items as embellishments and texture as well as techniques taught on class. The main background base is a leaf monoprint I made with the Gelli plate.
I found the quote online (gotta love google) by an unknown source.

One of the supplies I used was Golden glass bead gel sporadically over the page. This stuff is so cool! Here is a close up.
The sun was made using one of the class techniques.

Here are the supplies used:
Liquitex:  Basics acrylic paints, acrylic ink, paint marker, clear gesso, matte gel, modeling paste.
Household items: corrugated cardboard, comb, Swiffer dust sheet, die cut shape.
Other:  Gelli plate, Golden glass bead gel, Golden gold mica flake, Prima/Donna Downey foam stamps, Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamps, Michaels stamps, The Crafters Workshop stencils by Balzer Designs and Dylusions, Uni Posca markers, Signo white gel pen, Hero Arts dye ink.

Have a great day!
